Pupils: Report Concerns
At Co-op Academy North Manchester we want to create a culture where pupils are confident to ask for help and support when they need it.
You can tell any member of staff. It could be a teacher, a member of the pastoral team, an office assistant, a kitchen assistant or a cleaner. You can speak to any adult in the academy.
All members of staff at the academy know how to keep everyone safe.
If you don’t feel like you can tell a member of staff, you can contact the academy by:

Our Responsibility
Staff at the academy have a responsibility to every pupil who raises a safeguarding concern. At Co-op Academy North Manchester you should:
- be reassured that you are being taken seriously;
- be supported and kept safe;
- never be given the impression that you are creating a problem by reporting an incident;
- never be made to feel ashamed for making a report;
- be told what will happen next and who the information will be shared with.
We can never promise to keep a secret. We can do all we can to only share the information with those who need to know.
