After months of rigorous training, captivating regional heats and intense preparation, Co-op Academy North Manchester's debating champions travelled to London to compete against the brightest young debaters from across the country. The national finals, a culmination of the year-long Debate Mate programme, brought together schools that had consistently demonstrated excellence in critical thinking, public speaking, and persuasive argumentation.

Our team showcased unparalleled skill, confidence and intellectual prowess throughout the competition. Tackling complex and challenging motions with articulate reasoning and compelling arguments, they captivated judges and audiences alike. Their ability to think on their feet, construct sophisticated arguments, and engage respectfully with opposing viewpoints truly set them apart.
